Dear Family,
You have our deepest condolences.
Mr. Gerald, as we respectfully referred to him, was the soft light of our CHESCO Workshop. He had numerous girlfriends among the staff and we all delighted in his beautiful smile and twinkling blue eyes. ...and when he blushed, it just melted our hearts.
Mr. Gerald charmed us all with his gentleness, wit, and pure love of music. One day as we listened to music after our daily walk, "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" started playing and before we knew it, Mr. Gerald was standing over the speaker and singing EVERY lyric! From then on, we made sure to tune in to Paul Anka radio so that he could enjoy his favorite genre of music.
Last Christmas I was playing classic Christmas songs in my office and like a bee to honey, Mr. Gerald came in, planted himself in a chair, and proceeded to name the artist of each tune. <3
To say we will miss him is an understatement. To say that we love him is to state the obvious. To say that we are FOREVER BLESSED because of his presence in our lives is to profess a thank you to God for sharing his soul with ours. <3 <3 <3
With love,
