Obituary of Theodore "Ted" William Fulmer

Theodore William “Ted” Fulmer, Sr, 39, resident of Lexington, husband of Shannon Murphy Fulmer, passed away on November 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 17, 1981 in Daytona Beach, FL, he was the son of William Boyne and Elizabeth Glover Fulmer. Ted was a graduate of Lexington High School and Midlands Technical College. He was employed in the automotive industry until his health forced his early retirement. Ted proudly served in the US Army, where he served in several foreign conflicts and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association. He enjoyed a number of hobbies including gaming and cooking. His family loved the wonderful meals he prepared on his outdoor grill and said he could make a mouthwatering pecan pie. He also loved to build things and was very proud of the screened porch he built on his home. Ted was a loving husband and father, with his greatest joy being spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 19 years and his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Annamarie Fulmer and Isabella “Bella” Fulmer both of Lexington; a son, Theodore “Ted” Fulmer, Jr of Lexington; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Christy Murphy, as well as other loving family members and friends.

A private funeral service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with military honors.
