Charles was an amazing man. A gentle soul with a enormous sense of humor...but he could come back with some wicked witty retort that was then followed by this "got you" smile. He was a delightful storyteller. A man of deep faith, love, caring and yes a holy spirit. We met as new neighbors moving in a week apart. We became like family who shares their joys and sometimes personal concerns. A man who with Frances prayed for us daily. Charles loved music. He would invite us to stay and listen to the music with him. He knew everything about the individual song, the group that was singing, how it came to being and who each performers name. He cared deeply about others and always the gentleman and soul he was. He touched our lives in ways that he couldn't imagine. We will see you again sweet Charles. Enjoy singing in the angelic choir and let your voice soar. Your kindness and love with live on in all of us whose lives you touched. Love you forever, Patti and David Shufflebarger
