Obituary of Lydia Goering Barrineau

Lexington—Lydia Goering Barrineau, 34, went to be with the Lord August 29, 2020. She was born September 30, 1985 in Reno, NV and shortly after moved to South Carolina with her parents Daniel and Susan Goering of Gilbert, SC. 

 

Lydia is survived by her husband, Timothy Andrew Barrineau; two children, Emma and Jacson; mother-in-law, Paula Blyth Barrineau of Charleston, SC; fur babies, Myers and Bella; sisters, Jessica Plath, Hannah Lester and Selah Driggers; brothers, Josiah Goering and Noah Goering; nephews, Caden, Micah and Cooper Wilson; nieces, Britni and Aspen Plath; maternal grandparents, Robert and Frances Bradley of Williamsport, PA; paternal grandfather, Daniel Goering Sr. of Gilbert, SC; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom she loved and admired deeply. 

 

Lydia was a ray of sunshine, she will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

 

Her family grew with every person she met. She loved the Lord deeply and it showed by her actions and love for all. Lydia graduated from Lexington High School in 2003, she went on to be a caregiver, a mentor, a mother to all children, and the best Bloody Mary maker there ever was. 

 

The family will be conducting a memorial service Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 7pm,155 PowerPoint Lane, Lexington, SC 29072.
