I was saddened to hear the death of Most Worshipful and Illustrious Tommie Brant. He was a proud 33rd degree Honorary Inspector General Scottish Rite member and a Past Grand Master of the Ancient Free Masons in South Carolina. His friendship and leadership has been evident with the programs he was involved and by his influence. I first met Tommie at Grand Lodge in 1987 as a delegate for my Lodge, and quickly got to know and work with Tommie. He was a founder of the Scottish Rite Foundation in SC which has operated our Rite Care Childhood Language Since 1986. His leadership started an operating Rite Care center in Columbia and has now served over 3000 families in over 150,000 therapy Sessions. His impact in so many lives, not just these families but in so many brother Freemasons and friends. Tommie lived a life that made a difference, I know he did with me and so many. Rest In Peace my friend.
