Sybil,
Libby and I were sadden to read of Glen's passing. I know it has been a long time back, but I always enjoying seeing Glen at the different functions. He was truly a nice person and southern gentleman. I also fondly remember your time with national guard. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go though these difficult times.

Sybil and family,
What a dear, sweet man. I wish I could have known him before his coming to Still Hopes, but it was a privilege to be a part of caring for him there and getting to know you, Sybil. My sincere sympathy for your loss, but absolute joy that he loved the Lord and is with Him now.

We met in Hawaii. I was excited to visit for my first time. I was a little apprehensive that I would be meeting my new girlfriends parents there for the first time. There was no need for concern. You and Sybil accepted me right away. It was an honor to tour Hawaii with you and the family. Watching your emotion when we went to Pearl Harbor was touching. We shared many talks through the years. You loved to tell me how you saw this pretty girl on a tractor and she ended up becoming your wife and being the love of your life. That was evident from the first night we met. Through the years you shared many stories. Always about the girl on the tractor, and each time was like your first. But there were other stories. One I will always remember is how you were responsible for moving the men and sending them where they were needed In the war as your role in the Army. The part that touched me was when you told me you always stopped to pray for them. That was powerful. So many men...so many prayers. You told stories about each child, always with that fathers pride beaming. It wasn’t about how much money they made, but the difference they were making in the world. You were ever grateful for that. For me, I’ll always remember you, Linda and I hiking down a steep trail in Hawaii. You took it all in and gave God the glory for its beauty. That’s who you were to me and I’m thankful I was allowed to share so many wonderful family vacations and trips together. You will be missed my loving father-in-law.
