I heard about this and this really upset me. She had an amazing impact on MANY KIDS. Not only was she an amazing teach i am personally blessed to have her teach me because if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have continued in music and been where I am today. I’m thankful for all of the memories I had with her. I want to give all my condolences to the family and say she was an amazing teacher and friend to all. And no one was like her. Her personally was one in a billion. she was a very kind and loving person who had a huge heart and passion for teaching and music. Joshua 1:9

Mrs.michalski is my music teacher at Congaree elementary and when I found out she passed away I almost cried. She is the one who Encouraged me to do Chorus. I met her at my school in Second grade. I gave her hugs every time I left music class. And the last time I saw her I gave a sheet that I colored and it said music is life.and I even colored the words in her favorite color purple.

I went to Congaree Elementary and Mrs.Michalski was my music teacher. She really was the sweetest and most fun teacher I had. Personally she was my favorite teacher ever. I participated in after school chorus programs and she directed those too. I remember how she would tell us to pray for snow every year. And believe me... to this day I pray for snow every year. One thing about her that I will never forget is how much she really loved her kids. All of us. She cared so much about us in a way that no other teacher did. She expressed her love in the best ways and knew how to make everyone laugh. Right before running out the door after chorus, I'd stop and give her a big hug. She encouraged me to keep singing as a way to express myself as she did. And I do to this day. She had such a huge impact on all of her students. She will be missed forever.

To the family of this wonderful and caring sweet lady and teacher, my daughter and I are completely heartbroken just receiving this news. She was such an inspiration to my daughter, Lexi, whom she taught Chorus at Congaree Elementary. She wasn’t just my daughters teacher as she and I became friends. We have kept in touch since my daughter moved to Fulmer. Please know you are all in our prayers. What an impression she left on us and we will Always treasure the Blessing she was in our lives.

I met Mrs. Michalski when I moved to Congaree Elementary as a third grader! She was so supportive. She always talked to me when nobody else would. When I got into the fifth grade, I wanted to do chorus... but there was just one problem... I couldn’t sing for the life of me! My parents knew this and so did she... but being in chorus was what I wanted to do! So when my parents said they did not think it was a good idea... she knew it broke my heart... so that night my mom got a call from her and she had called and listed off all of the reasons I should be in chorus, because she knew it would make me ecstatic! I will always love Mrs. Michalski, she always encouraged me! She will have a place in my heart! I will always attribute a part of my success in life to her because she taught me to always push forward and to never just give up! Thank you for everything Mrs. Michalski! You will be greatly missed!!

I met Linda when I was just 10 years old, and she was a teacher at CCA. I then had the privilege of taking private piano lessons from her for years. She was by far the nicest teacher I have ever had. I moved away, and when I moved back years later, I was delighted to find out she went to my church. She was a lovely lady who made a very positive impact on my upbringing.

I was privileged to have worked with Linda at CCA for 4 years. Her dedication to her students along with her passion and love for music are unparalleled. Linda always went way above and beyond no matter what program she was teaching the children. Every time I saw Linda she would give me the biggest smile, always making me feel like I was her best friend! Her sense of humor, her wit, her love and dedication all come to my mind as I remember her. My heart aches for Bob, her daughters, and grandchildren because I know the sadness of losing one so close brings. I know God will bring you through this and will give you perfect peace, and take comfort that we will be reunited with Linda one day!

Linda was not only my two girls music teacher but their piano teacher and confidante. Over the 8 years, she became my friend also. I told my husband at Christmas that I was going to ask her if she had time to give me lessons, not just because of the piano, but that I missed her and it seemed like the perfect excuse to meet at least once a week. We will never forget you! Our hearts and thoughts are with her family. Always...The Creech Girls
