Obituary of Lisa T Powell

Lisa T Powell, 65, of Wagener, South Carolina passed away November 7, 2019.  She was born on July 14, 1954 in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Lisa shined a light into every life she met.  She had a heart of gold and never met a stranger.  Lisa loved her children and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was an intricate part of the day to day activities of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren's lives.  Her family was her world!

Lisa was a lover of beach music and shagging.  She enjoyed shopping and outings with her "golden girl" crew (Aunt Joann & Aunt BB).  She loved to cook and decorate all while enjoying her cup of coffee.  Lisa enjoyed maintaining her flowers in the garden.  Putting family was her first priority.  She always encouraged her family to do and be their best.  Lisa was an incredible mother, Nana, and friend.

The legacy Lisa leaves with us is one that will live on thru those that knew her.

Lisa  is survived by her father, George C Taylor Sr.; her daughter, Stephanie (Brandon) Lawson; her son, William  Randolph (Tiffanie) Powell Jr.; her brother, George C Taylor Jr.; her grandchildren, Destiny Powell, Hunter Powell, Chandler Lawson, Shilah Lawson; her great-grandchildren, Mallory Harrelson and Cayden Harrelson; and her true love of 27 years, Chris Ooten.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Annie S Taylor and her great-granddaughter Madelyn Rose Powell.
