Obituary of Sara Rigsby Hudnall

Sara Rigsby Hudnall, 80 of Columbia, South Carolina passed away June 10, 2019 at home in West Columbia, SC. She was born on August 27, 1938 in Huntsville, Alabama and pre-deceased by Clyde and Maudie (Harrell) Rigsby.

Sara is survived by 1 daughter, Tanya McDaris Cannon, 2 sons, Clyde (Tony) McDaris (Susan), Tracy McDaris (Donnell), 3 grandsons, Sean Cannon, Stacy Cannon and Shane Whitney, and 3 great grandchildren, Breanna Cannon Akshar, Henry Cannon and Sophia Whitney.

She is also survived by her sister Alice Rigsby Foster of Huntsville, Alabama.

Sara had a very long career in manufacturing quality until she medically retired in 2000. She spent the rest of her days enjoying family and doing the crafts that she loved.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to Crescent Hospice, Columbia Office, 1370 Browning Rd, Ste. 120, Columbia, SC 29210.
