Obituary of Gary Andrew Lemons

Gary Andrew Lemons, 65, of Eastover, South Carolina passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was born on November 10, 1953 in Knoxville, Tennessee, the son of Carl A. Lemons and Emogene Ferguson Lemons.  After graduating from Lower Richland High School in 1972, Gary attended Clemson University and Midlands Technical College.  He worked many years for American Amusement Company, followed by the remainder of his professional career in Auto parts sales at Burns Auto Parts, Napa, Advance Auto, and lastly AutoZone in West Columbia.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Carl A Lemons and Emogene Lemons; and his sister, Gail Boone.  He is survived by his sister, Carla Lemons Jarrells of Columbia; his nephew, William Jarrells of Hopkins; and his niece, Tina D. Wilson of Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Ministry.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Leesburg Rd, on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 4-6 pm.  Friends and family will gather after the Memorial at LaBrasca's on Ft Jackson Blvd in his honor.
