Obituary of Eleanor Katherine Rosensteel

Gaston - Eleanor Katherine Winters Rosensteel, 94, of Gaston, South Carolina went to heaven on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Yanoski, born April 2, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was preceded by her brother, James and survived by her brother, Fred Yanoski of Columbiana, Ohio.

Eleanor was preceded by 2 husbands.

She was the mother of 8 children, 2 deceased sons, Joseph and Frederick Winters. Surviving sons are Kenneth and his wife, Liz; and John Winters of   Pennsylvania, David and his wife, Danielle Winters, South Carolina, Leonard Winters, Texas. Two daughters Katherine and her husband Larry Huddleson and Marlene DiStefano, New York. She had been blessed with 27 grandchildren and 74 great grandchildren.

Eleanor was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed all of her grandchildren and her pets.

Her hobbies were sewing, crocheting, flowers and shopping.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 7pm at Thompson Funeral Home, 200 State St. West Columbia 29169.
