Obituary of Joan Owens Raucci

Joan Owens Raucci, 63, wife of, Timothy Joshua “T.J.” Raucci, resident of Murrells Inlet, passed away on March 23, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 29, 1955 in Loris, SC, she was a daughter of the late Norman Francis and Christine Harrelson Owens.   She was an extremely diverse professional spending many years managing an array of retail and financial establishments ranging from Dunn & Bradstreet, Ray Clepper Boating, and Griffin Pools and Spas.  Joan was a member of Women of the Moose, an affiliate of the Order of the Moose and was of the Christian Faith.

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by a daughter, Brittney McDade of Columbia; a son, John Harden of Columbia; a sister, Cynthia McCracken and her husband Randall of Columbia; two brothers, Larry Owens and wife Angie of Columbia and Marshall Owens and wife Paula of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Addison Fowler, Kaydie McDade, Christian McDade, Chance Harden and Jordan Delay; one great-grandchild, Braelyn Goodwin and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 30th at Christian Life Assembly Church. The family will receive friends from 11am to 12 Noon at the church.
