Obituary of Mark John Gulbis

Mark John Gulbis, 55, of West Columbia, entered eternal rest on January 19, 2019. Mark was born on September 11, 1963 in Columbia, SC to Juris “George” and Beverly Gulbis.

Mark enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Cowboy, building things with his father and son, and taking care of his parents.

In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his children, Crystal Russell (Dennis) and Mark Gulbis (Amanda); grandchildren, Haylie, Mollie, Jacob, Tyler, Caroline and Knox; a sister, Teresa Shepherd (David); a niece, Darby; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Mark will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington at 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073, with visitation one hour prior to the time of service. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
