Obituary of Sarah Matthews Skinner

Sarah Matthews Skinner, 91, of Gaston, wife of the late Allen Leroy "Roy" Skinner, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born in Sumter SC, on October 3, 1927 to the late Otto Franklin Matthews and Juanita Langston Matthews. She was a member of Gaston First Baptist Church and retired from Bi Lo.

She is survived by four sons, Allen Skinner Jr. (Vera), David Skinner (Kathleen), Raymond Skinner (Janet) and Franklin Skinner (Gail); 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9:30 a.m.  -  10:30 a.m.  A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia. Skinner,
