I lived in Columbia until 2008 and Alex was a part of my weekly game night group. I loved playing games with him and was sorry to hear of his passing. I am taking comfort in many happy memories of game nights and weekends. I pray your memories of Alex are a comfort to you as well as you mourn his loss.

Alex was a crafty, intelligent and good person to be around. My husband and I joined a board gaming group in Columbia, and he was one of the first folks we met. We found he had a sneaky way of playing games that got him in front of the other players that was both a bit annoying and more inspiring at the same time. Now we have one less player at our tables, but that does not mean we will forget him. He will be missed.

I'm saddened to learn of the passing of a friend. Alex had a sly wit and an amiable nature despite the hand that life dealt him physically. It wasn't easy for him to get around but we were always glad to see him and play boardgames with him.
He will be missed.

Alex was a awesome person. He used to live in my neighborhood and we attended the same high school. May he rest in heaven. God has picked a beautiful angel!

I was blessed to have had Alex as a friend in my life! We were always laughing and enjoying each other company growing up in school! He was a great friend to me and I was as he told me one time that I was his body Gaurd so I became his friend / body guard! It’s funny I was on Facebook always chatting with him never knew that God would call him home! We always talked about Coffee and how he loves to just drink and stay up! I wish I had a chance to say how much of a friend he was to me one last time! You loving friend and Body Gaurd WILLIE WISE!

I remember seeing a picture of Alex as a child. He was beautiful. If ever there was a brave soul, it was Alex! He had such a sense of humor, funny and intelligent! I did not know that he had such a large family here. I am so glad that he did! I am so sorry for your loss.
