Obituary of Robin M. Maurer

Robin M. Maurer, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 16th, 2018. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, caring sister and loyal friend.

Robin was predeceased by her father, John Challis Miles; mother, Sara Francis Miles; and brothers, Henry Willis Miles and Timothy Challis Miles.

Robin is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, David Timothy Maurer; daughters, Heather Jones and Jessica Johnson (Daniel) along with six grandchildren; her brothers, John Miles (Delores) and Luther (Rusty) Miles; her sister, Sandra Butler (Sonny); nieces and nephews and other extended family. 

Robin loved everyone and never met a stranger. She would give you the shirt off her back and spent much time sharing her love about God and her faith with others. She had a beautiful smile, contagious laugh and love for others that illuminated wherever she may be. Her presence will be missed by many, for she has touched so many people. We, as her family, are blessed and forever grateful that God gave her to us for the time we were able to share with her. Though her time was unplanned we know that God has a greater plan.

Family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Monday, October 22nd 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with funeral services following at 3:30 p.m.
