John and I went to Admiral Farragut Academy in the 70's and became good friends. We followed similar paths in the recreational boating industry and crossed paths often. We were always friends no matter how many years went by. I am extremely saddened and share in his family's loss. John was a great man and always had time for those he loved. RIP my Farragut Brother, until we meet again. Love you Bro!

When we founded our business in 2007, we also found John at The Chemistry Store. John and Sandy became our most important business partner during the last 12 years. John always took the time to explain, educate and coach us on any question or challenge we had. He was a treasure trove of knowledge and encouragement.
Although we've never met in person, we consider John and Sandy not only our most important partners for our business, but also friends. We are so sad to know that he is no longer with us. We hope that Sandy, and all of John's family, will take good care of themselves during this difficult time of grieving. Know that grieving will take its time, but there will come a day when you think of John and smile again. Godspeed John.

I am so sad to hear of John's passing. John and I worked together for many years in my capacity of doing marketing and sales for Stephenson Personal Care, one of his main suppliers for soap bases. I visited John and Sandy several times and always enjoyed my visits, first to Pompano Beach, FL then to Cayce, SC. We all bonded over our mutual love for cats and shared kitty pics over the years. John was a great entrepreneurial spirit and had such a passion for helping soap makers to start their own businesses. Sending my condolences to Sandy and John's family.

John See was one of the kindest, most generous people I have known...yet not ever having met him in person. I have worked with John and Sandy for over 16 years and it was quite evident that they were partners in life, business and love in the truest sense of the word. His grace and passion for life will be greatly missed. I always treasured just a few moments of his time when I called The Chemistry Store. He will be deeply missed.
May God bless him and his family.
I love you.
Teresa

My heart felt condolences to the Sandy and the family.
John had many talents but I would say I always admired John for making a change and opening The Chemistry Store. I will miss this great friend and his stories. Visiting John was the highlight of my trips to SC. He will be missed and I pray for the family during their time of grief.

John and Sandy have been clients of the company I work for for many, many years. I took over their account several years ago and at first, I thought John to be a pretty tough character! I absolutely respected his knowledge and always knowing exactly what he wanted. Our initial interactions were brief but, over the months, that hard shell exterior was gone and I would soon call John my friend rather than a "customer".
I remember all the boating advice he gave me when I bought my little pontoon last year - I had no idea how much he know about boats!! I also remember every year he promised to send me photos of his elaborate outdoor decorations at the holidays but always forgot until I spoke with him next. The way he described this yearly project and the constant updates were always picture enough for me. We laughed so hard last year as he was telling me about the issues with power - "I need MORE POWER not FEWER LIGHTS!"
John was just that kind of guy that you just liked straight on. He was honest, told the best stories, and worked so hard for his family and his pets - he loved animals so much.
I guess it says a lot if I knew this much about him being such a small part in his life. I can only imagine the grief felt by true friends and family he has left behind. I will miss you, John, I really will.

I am so very sorry to learn of John's passing. Even though I did not know John well, I often spoke with him on the 'phone to order supplies, and heard Eduardo and Tanya speak so very fondly of John over the years, as not just a supplier, but as a close and valued friend. It was a pleasure doing business with John and from My Ocean, here in The Bahamas, I would like to extend my condolences to John's family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time xxx

I’ve been a customer of The Chemistry Store for many years now. I always enjoyed my visits with John and Sandy when I picked up my orders. He was a wealth of information and I learned so much from him and benefited from his knowledge. They are more than business acquaintances; they are family. I will miss seeing your smiling face John. I will miss your laughter and the funny stories. I am grateful for the chance I had to know you. We will meet again one day and I’m sure you’ll have even more stories to tell. Hugs and prayers to Sandy, John (Jr), family members, and The Chemistry Store family! <3
