Obituary of Charles David Younginer

Charles “Chuck” David Younginer, 66, of Lexington, husband of Bonnie Sightler Younginer, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born on June 5, 1952 in Columbia, SC to the late Joseph Deyton Younginer and Bertha Raines Younginer. He was a member of Brookland Cayce Marching Band in 1972, a member of West Side Baptist Church and Classic Chevy Club of Columbia. Chuck was also a US Navy Veteran.

In addition to his wife of 30 years, he is survived by a sister, Jo Alice Leach of West Columbia; and a nephew, Robbie Bouvy of Myrtle Beach.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2018 at West Side Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.
