Obituary of Patricia Joan Stanley

Patricia Joan Stanley, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018.  She was born on August 31, 1935 in Dixiana, SC to the late L. R. Stanley and Chrystabelle Cupstid Stanley.  She was a resident of West Columbia for 82 years and a graduate of Brookland Cayce High School.  She was a retired store keeper and operated rental property.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in West Columbia.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Stanley was predeceased by one son, Billy Ray Outlaw, Jr. of St Matthews. Surviving are his children, Patricia M. Outlaw, Michelle B. Outlaw and Robert R. Outlaw and five grandchildren.

Ms. Stanley is survived by one son, Michael Outlaw (Brandi) of St. Matthews and his children; Matthew Outlaw (Nicole), Ashley Outlaw Joiner (Ryan) of St Matthews and Martha Claire Brown of St. Matthews  along with 2 grandchildren.

Miss Pat, as she was known by many, loved caring for others and spending time with her family.  Her greatest joy was raising her children and grandchildren.  She was MAMA to all and will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC.  Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC.
