Obituary of David D Meek

David D. Meek, 57, of Lexington, SC, husband of Linda Sharpe Meek, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1960 in Dennison, Ohio to the late Howard Vernon Meek and Lois Bartholomew Meek. He was a 1978 graduate of Claymont High School in Uhrichsville, Ohio and worked for Bailey Harris Construction in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his wife of 25 years, he is survived by two sons, Joshua Samuel and Jarrett David Meek; two brothers, Tom Grezlik (Doris), Mark Meek (Mary); sister-in-law, Ruthie Grezlik;  nephews, nieces and great nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lt. Col. Stan Grezlik (Ret.).

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Northside Baptist Church, 4347 Sunset Blvd., Lexington, SC 29072. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
