Obituary of Miriam Cook Eller

Miriam C. Eller, 91, of Lexington, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington. Pastor Dan Williams will officiate. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington prior to the service. Interment of cremated remains at Fort Jackson National Cemetery will be private.

Miriam Eller was born in Manasquaw, New Jersey to the late Robert W. Cook and Lillian Peterson Cook. She loved life, fishing and camping with her beloved husband Ed, and enjoyed painting, crocheting, writing poetry, singing, making greeting cards and hanging out with her family and friends.

Miriam is survived by her children; daughters, Shirley Catoe of Lexington, Barbara Hammond (Kenny) of Lexington; grandson, Matthew Catoe of Lexington. In addition to her parents, Miriam was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Edward Eller; one son-in-law, Bill Catoe; sister, Evelyn Wagoner.

Heaven has another angel. Mom went to Heaven Friday, June 8th. She is now with her beloved Ed, and debonair dog, George. They are sitting under an oak tree drinking their favorite beverage. She will be missed by her family immensely, and we love her to the moon and back. We love you, Mom!
