Obituary of Jean Kyzer Tindal-Phares

Jean Kyzer Tindal-Phares, 76 passed away on June 4, 2018.  She was born on May 16, 1942 in Columbia, SC, the daughter of the late Alec and Marjorie Kyzer.  She was the wife of the late Wayne Tindal and Bill Phares.

Mrs. Tindal-Phares was predeceased by her brother Zan Kyzer.

Jean is survived by her children, Rev. Sharon "Shay" Long (Kermit) of Lexington, Susan Justus (Paul) of Gaston and Christopher Tindal (Sharon) of Cayce, four grandchildren, Tarah Justus, Jordan Justus, Kaiti Long and Allyson Tindal.  Also surviving are three stepdaughters of Indiana, and her loving dog, "Buddy Boy".

Services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Highway with burial to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Pelion, SC.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
