It doesn't seem possible that Cecil is no longer with us. He was such a vibrant man, so active physically, mentally and spiritually. Every person he met became a friend. He will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Surely, it is a great comfort to know that he is at God's side.

There are so many great stories I could share about growing up with my two brothers,
Cecil and Tim. When were together, sharing our childhood memories, we would explode with laughter. We always knew we were loved by our parents and each other. We are not only siblings, we are the greatest of friends. I will miss Cecil's funny stories, the twinkle in his eye, his confidence and assurance, but mostly his presence. His presence spoke of peace and faith. I give thanks to God for blessing my family with this great man..
Molly, you are my sister and I will always be by your side. I am so very proud of Roy, Mike, Wade and your families., I love you.

We are deeply saddened by Cecil's transition but we know the Bible says, "to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord." I am thankful for the many years my family and I have spent learning the truth of God's word from Cecil and that my girls were born into and grew up in that same Bible study class. Cecil had so much love for God and such a strong desire to share his knowledge of scripture with everyone. His teachings will be passed on in our family for generations to come. We love you Mrs. Molly and Mrs. Linda. You are in our thoughts and prayers and Cecil will live in our hearts forever.

I was introduced to Cecil by happenchance, carpooling with a dear friend Jim Porter. After Jim went to the Big Meeting in the Sky, I had grown so Spiritually through Cecil's Chapel of Truth Bible Study that I couldn't stay away! Cecil had indeed been both called and chosen to Serve the Lord by his passionate teaching of Scripture. He taught, in my opinion, the best way - chapter by chapter, verse by verse - revealing a
Deeper Insight as we studied God's Word. I have SO many incredible memories with Cecil. He was a joy to be with (and Molly & Linda too) and my life has become fuller and Spiritually Blessed; undoubtedly from knowing Cecil as he taught us how to study, pray, reflect, discern, use the Strong's Concordance, and to ask our own questions independently. He definitely taught the Truth, albeit sometimes with controversy.....but ALWAYS backed up his statements with Scripture to validate the facts. He introduced many new ideas to me, such as the 3 earth ages, disproving the rapture theory, deception of the anti-christ, and the glory of our Spiritual bodies returning to Jesus once the flesh body passes away. Naturally I am solemn these days as I feel such a loss. But then come the moments of certainty that we can celebrate the goodness and purity of Cecil's ever-so-giving heart and the love of God within. Any help I can give the family, in this time of need, is offered gladly. I realize it is a drive to come to you, Molly; but I can easily gather a few folks to do yardwork. Really! You and the entire group at Bible Study are worth it! I thank God that Cecil came into my life for over 10 years, as well as thank God for the ability to learn from men and women of God. My last words to Cecil, after a visit in the the ICU, were: "May God keep you and bless you - until we meet again." He will always be loved in my heart, and it truly was an honor to be a student of him. To God be the glory for the time He gave us knowing Cecil.
