Obituary of Henry D. Brogdon

Henry D. Brogdon, 80, of Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully at his home July 20, 2021. He was born October 19, 1940 in Beaufort, SC to Carson and Bertha Mae (Cooler) Brogdon. Henry worked in the food industry, most recently serving as a Meat Inspector for the United States Government. 

Henry loved working in the yard, spending time with his family, his beloved pet bird Baby. He proudly served our country in the Unites States Navy. To honor his dedication, military honors will be performed at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. 

Henry is survived by his wife, Lola Flint Brogdon; children, Tammie, Nancy, David, Maude, and Ciera.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, William, Jeremy (Rebecca), and Heather; great grandchildren, Alasia, Gregory, Eric, Jaylon, Kyron, Jeremy Jr., Brayden, William Jr., Asiaance, and Raelinn; and great great grandchildren, Khai and Kamari; one brother, Carison Brogdon; nieces and nephews, Henry (Cindy) Brogdon, Steve (Betty) Brogdon, Lsai (Ron) Watts, Carol Brogdon, Robert Brogdon, Michael Brogdon, and Becca Brogdon; great nieces and nephews, Tina Brogdon, John Ulness, Bryan Ulness, Brandon (Angel) Watts, and Clinqton Brogdon.
