Obituary of Francis Joseph Boulware

Francis Boulware, 67, of West Columbia, husband of Margaret Graddick, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 after a courageous battle with ALS. He was born on May 12, 1951 in West Columbia to the late George and Annie Maude Roof Boulware. He was an avid Clemson fan, a member of AA for 37 years (HoBo Joe) and a member of The Salvation Army of Irmo.

In addition to his wife of 34 years he is survived by two children, JoAnne Boulware and David (Trista) Mahoney; six brothers and sisters, Annette Price, Georgianna Gray, Doris (Jimmy) Maddox, Parker (Dianne) Boulware, Lawrence Boulware and Elizabeth Kitty Boulware; six grandchildren, Samantha (Tim) Mahoney, Ashley (Sammy) Baker, Zoe Mahoney, Drew Mahoney, Jonathan Mahoney and Andy Mahoney; two great grandsons, Gage and Eli Vinson;  one aunt, Grace Roof; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Campbell.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery and Gardens.
