Obituary of Sandra Rauch White

Sandra Rauch White of Lexington went home to be with her heavenly father on April 24, 2018. Born March 4, 1941 in Chapin, SC, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Nellie Boland Rauch.

She retired from Keenan & Suggs in 2012 after 30+ years of service.  She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Chapin, SC where she attended regularly until her health prevented her from doing so. 

Sandra is survived by her loving family: daughter, Terri White Alford (Tony); granddaughters, Tori Ward (Kyle), Taren Wheeler (Cruz); and two great granddaughters ‘who were the apples of her eye’, Blakely and Hartley Wheeler; also, her special little doggy, “Pawley”, who was her best buddy and so much company during her years of declining health.  She is also survived by her brothers, Joe Rauch (Jean), Charlie Rauch (Louise), Karl Rauch (Susan); sisters, Barbara Graham, Janis Bedenbaugh, LeeRae Arnold (Jerry), Mary Cromer (Ricky); and sister-in-law, Hazel Rauch. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest White; brother, Jimmy Rauch; brother-in laws, Gerald Graham and Paul Bedenbaugh.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at Agape Hospice House for their committed care and all the kindness shown to her and her family during the last weeks of her life. Also, Special Thanks to:  Russell Lentz, Michelle Strickland and Bianca Ricchione.

Funeral Services will be held in the chapel at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. David Tholstrup.   Family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road Lexington, SC.

Pallbearers are Kyle Ward, Cruz Wheeler, Joey Rauch, Karl Rauch, Jr., Jamey Shealy and Keith Watts. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church “Building Fund”, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC  29036.
