The family does not know me but I thought I would share a memory. I recognized John's name immediately in the State paper. While I was a young twenty year old, beginning my building career, John, was working with Kline Iron and Steel. John patiently took me under his wing and helped me through a tough steel roofing job that i knew nothing about. In the 40 years since I have not see or heard from John. I wanted you to know how his gentle spirit touched my life as I'm sure it did others.

Uncle Johnny was a very caring and sweet man. I loved going over and helping him around the house and sometimes just sitting and talking. He made me laugh and I loved him dearly. He was a big part of my life.. His door was always open and welcomed everyone. I will miss him dearly. I know he is with Aunt Tank now and in no more pain. Love you Uncle Johnny..
