Obituary of Wayne Sidney Lee

West Columbia—Wayne Sidney Lee, 69, of West Columbia, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born on April 13, 1948 in Hartsville, South Carolina to the late James Edward Lee and Lynda Hughes Lee. He was a Vietnam Veteran and enjoyed singing, telling jokes, and relaxing. He loved the Lord and was loved by all. He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Hall, Evelyn Rice and Candice Randolph; one sister, Nancy Britt; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; his caregiver, Nita; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly and six sisters. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Crescent Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family.
