Obituary of Franklin Delano Ross

Franklin Delano Ross Sr., 81, passed away July 30, 2015. He was born on May 2, 1934 to the late Joseph and Rebecca Ross. Franklin is survived by his wife of 61 years, LaRue Shumpert Ross; his daughters, Vivian Leah Roberson, June Carter Elders (deceased) her husband, Buddy, Ginger Michelle Couch; son, Franklin "Del" Delano Ross Jr. and beloved daughter-in-law, Sherri. Grandchildren, Stefanie, Michael (Kathleen), Rebecca (Victor), Pamela, Devon (Jasmine), Brodie, Logan, Trey, Hannah, Rachel, Dalana, Mattie, Jared, Alex, Kylie, Ava, Kerri, Michael Joseph, Michael, Jade, Khloe; his brother, Calvin Leo Ross and his wife, Patricia; sister in law, Annie Grace Ross; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on July 31st from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
