Obituary of Mark K. Padgett

Mark Kenneth Padgett, 51, of West Columbia passed away August 2, 2015. He was born on May 12, 1964 in Richland County to Sylvia Dye Padgett and the late O'Neal V. Padgett. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cayce. He was previously employed with Crystal Linen and Physicians Wear. Mark is survived by his wife, Laura Leatherwood; two sisters, Sharon Rucker (Oscar) and Melanie Dunlap; one grandchild, Shelly Leatherwood; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with a visitation following the service at the funeral home.
