Obituary of Ann Marie Patricia Lear

HOPKINS-Ann Marie Patricia Lear, 71, of Avenel, NJ, passed away peacefully, on August 6, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born November 18, 1943 in New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Petti) Moore. Ann Marie was a school bus driver for more than 25 years, and had a passion for children. She had an adoration for cooking and enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. Ann Marie also loved spending time with her dog, Scrappy, as well as her grandfurries, Harley, Tyson, Rocky and Mika. Even though Ann Marie was only living in Richland County, SC for a short time, she truly loved the Southern charm and hospitality, and she was always willing to help a person in need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Wagner, as well as a brother, William R. Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Denise Lear (Howard Stephens); son, Scott Lear (Karen Speranza); sisters, Christine Doyle and Dorothy Mainberger; grandsons, Scott Lear and Joseph Porcelli; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private; and a memorial service will be held and announced at a later date in New Jersey.
