Obituary of Bertie E. Cagle

Bertie E. Cagle, 76, of Hopkins, South Carolina passed away April 28, 2018 in Columbia, SC. She was born on June 21, 1942 in Chesterfield on June 21, 1942, South Carolina to Julis Griggs and Bessie Lewis Griggs.

Bertie is survived by: her husband, Melvin Cagle; daughter, Teresa Cagle; son, Melvin Ray Cagle Jr.; and brother J.D. Griggs.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Sara Gibson; and brothers, Floyd Griggs and Billy Pittman.

The family will receive friends at May 3, 2018 on from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on May 3, 2018 at 3p.m. with Rev. Randy Gulledge officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Oliver Gospel Mission, 1100 Taylor Street, Columbia SC 29201.
