Obituary of Sarah Pless

CAYCE - Funeral service for Sarah M. Pless, 88, will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Transfiguration Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Alexander H. Twedt. A funeral procession will follow with burial at Southland Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Brent Marshall, Eddie Norris, Brian Epting, Mark Level, Steve Dorn and Ray Hoover. Box 2461, Cayce, SC 29033.Mrs. Pless, affectionately known as """Maw Maw""" to all who knew her, passed away peacefully at Agape Nursing Home on August 11, 2010. Born July 4, 1922, in Mount Pleasant, NC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Rhodie McAnulty. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church.Surviving are her children: Judy (Jimmy) Norris, Brenda (Rick) Redmon, Deb (Bill) Marshall and Greg Pless; four grandchildren, Eddie (Terry) Norris, Tracey (Trey) Schultz, Michelle Vaughn and Brent Marshall; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Buck McAnulty. Mrs. Pless was preceded in death by her husband, William """Ray""" Pless, a granddaughter, Renee Redmon and 2 brothers.
