Obituary of Joseph Warren

WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Joseph D. """J.D.,""" 85, will be held at 3 p. m. Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Faith Lutheran Church, officiated by the Rev. Tommy Lineberger. Entombment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 3228, West Columbia, SC 29171. Mr. Warren, husband of Tracy Hensley Warren, died Friday, September 17, 2010. Born in Richland County, SC, he was a son of the late Joseph Abraham Warren and Mary Meetze Warren. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Mr. Warren retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company, having been a truck driver for 27 years, and from Brown Baveri Electrical Supply. Survivors are his loving wife, Tracy H. Warren of West Columbia; daughter, Christy W. Bull (Capers) of Cameron; son, Steven R. """Randy""" Warren (Beth) of West Columbia; brother, John H. Warren of Columbia; two grandchildren, Matthew Warren and Nicole Warren. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by sisters, Elizabeth McLemore, Josie Allean Kelly and Patsy Brown, and a brother, James Abraham Warren.
