Obituary of Doris Hyman

WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Doris Gaites Hyman, 80, of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be the Rev. Henry Cooper. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Hyman died Monday, October 4, 2010. Born in Gaston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Beverly Ira and Annie Olivia Lucas Gaites. She had been a local area resident for over 51 years. Surviving are her husband, Grady E. Hyman of West Columbia; daughter and son-in-law, Karen H. and William F.
