CAYCE - Funeral service for Beulah R. """Dinks""" Porter, 80, of Cayce, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010, at State Street Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Tommy Pillow, the Rev. Nathan Brown and the Rev. Rodolph Dixon. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Vance Alexander, Jerry Poole, Edward Fuson, David Fuson, Rhett Siedschlad and Time Shealy. Honorary pallbearers will be the Bethany Sunday School Class and Fellowship Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Born in Lexington County, she was the daughter of the late Adolphus Rish and Linnie Smith Rish. She was a lifetime area resident and a member of State Street Baptist Church. She retired from the South Carolina Dept. of Revenue after 35 plus years of service.Surviving, in addition to her husband, Harvey Porter of Cayce, are daughter and son-in-law, Dianne P. and Vance Alexander of West Columbia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
