Obituary of Mary Polson

Mary Lamb Polson CAYCE:Funeral service for Mary Lamb Polson, 90, will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Rev. Kevin Phillips. The family will receive friends from 5 until 6 p.m., one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2011, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Twin City, GA. Memorials may be made to Broad Acres Baptist Church Building Fund, 2350 Taylor Rd., Cayce, SC 29033. Mrs. Polson, widow of Ellis Macel Lamb and Earl Polson, died Thursday, January 13, 2011. Born in Emanuel City, GA, she was a daughter of the late John Robert Armour and Daisy Turner Armour. She was a member of Broad Acres Baptist Church and the Edna Dorn Sunday School Class. Mrs. Polson was retired from Deluxe Dry Cleaners. She enjoyed gardening and she loved her beloved dog ?Buttercup?. Surviving are her sister, Nannie Ruth Phillips; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Lamb, Tracy Lamb, Chance Lamb, Sterling Lamb and Audrey Williams; four great grandchildren, Codey Lamb, Dustin Lamb, Brodie Lamb and Riley Nicole Lamb.
