Obituary of W M Stone

W. M. Stone, Jr. WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for W. M. Stone, Jr., 81, of West Columbia will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in the Chapel at Celestial Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Officiating will be Pastor Glen Altermatt. Entombment will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Children's Hospital, PO 100199, Dept. 274, Columbia, SC 29202. Mr. Stone, widower of Bobbie Jean Shealy Stone, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Born in Appling County, GA, he was the son of the late Willie M. Stone, Sr. and Mary Jane Carson Stone. He was a member of Columbia First Seventh-day Adventist Church and retired from Shealy's Millwork and Supply. Surviving are his son, Mike Stone (Darlene) of Tryon, NC; daughter Barbara Stone of West Columbia; daughter-in-law, Debbie Stone of Spring City, PA.
