Obituary of Karen Sharpe

Karen Sharpe WEST COLUMBIA-Funeral service for Karen Elaine Sharpe, 55, of West Columbia, will be held at 12 Noon Friday, May 20, 2011, at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Lynch. Burial will follow in Olympia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Sharpe passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Born in Andrews, SC, she was the daughter of Winnie Wright. Surviving in addition to her mother Winnie Wright of Statesville, N.C.; are her husband, Ray Sharpe of West Columbia; daughter, Valerie Smith of Swansea; step-daughter, Tina Fisher of Bamberg; step-sons, Eddie Sharpe of West Columbia and Martin Sharpe of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Crystal Garner, Shane Garner, Chris Sharpe, Angel Garner, Austin Sharpe, Tyler Sharpe and Dakota Smith; and sister, Patricia Ledbetter of Statesville, NC.
