Minnie Lou Harley WEST COLUMBIA—A graveside service for Minnie Lou Harley, 73, of West Columbia, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Southland Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Lynch. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Mrs. Harley, wife of Harry M. Harley, Sr., passed away on June 4, 2011. Born in Calhoun County, she was the daughter of the late George W. Rutledge and Josephine Verning Rutledge. She was an area resident for the past 40 year. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her beloved husband of 52 years, Harry M. Harley, Sr. of West Columbia; daughters, Debra Edmonds and Nancy Howell (Mike) all of West Columbia, and Barbara Eversole of Mckeesport, PA; sons, Harry M. Harley, Jr. of West Columbia, Robert Harley (Dale) and George D. "David" Harley (Virginia) all of Lexington; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Thelma Stanfield of Orangeburg and George Rutledge of Hampton.
