Obituary of Brian Lowery

Brian Keith Lowery WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Brian Keith Lowery, 28, of West Columbia, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 119 Church Street, Lexington, SC. Officiating will be Reverends Patrick W. Riddle, Tracy McGee and Ray Guess. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Brian's memory either to Suburban Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2742, West Columbia, SC 29170 or to the Oliver Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 7791, Columbia, Sc 29202. Brian joined his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Born in West Columbia, he graduated from Lexington High School in 2001, was currently employed at Shneider Electric of Columbia, and was a South Carolina Air Guard Veteran. Surviving are his parents, Clinton and Terry Lowery, Lexington; sister, Aimee K. Lowery; brother, Danny Lowery (Gini) all of West Columbia; nephew, Bryant and nieces, Kristan and Brook Lowery; paternal grandfather, Ralph Wieneke; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brian now joins his baby sister, Kelly Lowery, maternal grandmother, Elaine Wieneke and paternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Lowery in rejoicing with his Heavenly Father. Brian was active with Suburban Baptist Church where he ran the sound room on Sundays and worked with the Youth on Wednesday nights. He enjoyed spreading God's word to those who met him and worked tirelessly for His Kingdom. Brian mentored to troubled youth who needed his special insight. He listed God, inspirational music, and his Bible among his Face Book interests. Brian was very loved and will always be loved and greatly missed by his family, church family and friends.
