Obituary of William Smith

WILLIAM RAYMOND "RAY" SMITH SWANSEA: A graveside service celebrating the life of Ray Smith, 58, will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens, Thursday, October 20, 2011, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Ed Lynch will be officiating the service. Ray passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011. He was born in Columbia, SC, to the late Wesley Raymond and Lois Elaine Smith. Ray was predeceased by his wife, Luanne Grant Smith. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Beverly Smith; a nephew, Matthew Smith; a niece, Leigh Taylor and loving and loyal friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family and friends have entrusted Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington with the arrangements.
