Obituary of Geraldine Ricard Williams

Geraldine "Jackie "Ricard Williams LEXINGTON-Funeral services for Geraldine "Jackie" Ricard Williams, 68, of Lexington, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Dunn's Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Tom Atten. Burial will follow in West Side Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Memorials may be made to Tri-County Hospice, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 100, Columbia, SC 29210. Ms. Williams died Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Born in West Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of Madeline Steele Ricard and the late Eugene R. Ricard. She was an active member of Dunn's Chapel where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was employed with State Accident Fund until her retirement in 2008; and was a 1961 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School. Surviving are her mother, Madeline Steele Ricard of West Columbia; daughters, Tonya Williams Threatt of West Columbia and Denise Wilson of Lexington and son-in-laws, Jeff Threatt and Bob Wilson. She was the loving "Little Granny" to her four grandchildren, Rachel and Chloe Threatt, Grant and Ryan Wilson. She is also survived by her dear friend, Charlie Crocker.
