Obituary of Thelma Jordan

WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Thelma P. Jordan, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by the Rev. Amos Hann. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Jordan, Gary Sightler, Jason Aaron, Tony Oswald, Joey Sharpe and Lee Gurganious. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. this evening, September 14, 2010, at the funeral home. Mrs. Jordan departed this life and entered into rest Saturday, September 11, 2010. Born in Florence, SC, she was a daughter of the late Myrtle Lynch. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Tripp Jones, Heartstrings Hospice and all of her loving family and friends. She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughters, Judy Sharpe Sightler (Wayne) of Gaston, and Vickie Wright (Charles) of West Columbia; son, Ronnie Jordan (Wendy Zellmer) of Blythewood; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
