Obituary of John Woodall

CAYCE - Funeral service for John C. Woodall Sr., 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2011, at Cayce First Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Kevin Phillips and the Rev. Joe Borgkvist. Interment will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to Cayce First Baptist Church, 600 Holland Avenue, Cayce, SC 29033.Mr. Woodall, husband of Eugenia Hutto Woodall, died Thursday, December 30, 2010. Born in Jefferson, GA, he was a son of the late James Calvin Woodall and Bonnie Sears Woodall. He was a member of Cayce First Baptist Church; former chairman of Deacons, and a Sunday School teacher. Mr. Woodall was a U.S. Marine veteran of WW II.Surviving are his wife, Eugenia Hutto Woodall of Cayce; daughter, Betty Jean Hawes (Denny); sons, John Calvin Woodall Jr. (Bobbie), Larry Wayne Woodall (Elizabeth) and Michael Glenn Woodall (Jo Ann); seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
