Obituary of Morris Man Williams

A graveside service celebrating the life of Morris Williams, 76, of Hopkins, SC will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor David Spears officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday at Greenlawn Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. The ?Fish? Man as he was affectionately called by his family and friends departed this earthly life on Monday, April 9, 2012. He was born in Bladenboro, North Carolina to the late David Williams and Mollie Callihan Williams. Morris was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Williams was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Pritchett and his brother, Mitchell Williams. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, June Helms Williams; one son, Kevin Williams and his wife, Anita; one granddaughter, Melissa Pritchett; one great-grandchild, Connor Fields; two sisters, Frances Shaver and Doris Ann Gardner; a brother, Horace Williams; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
