Obituary of Lisa Waller

Lisa Waller departed this Earthly life, Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was born in Columbia, SC, on September 13, 1954, and lived her life in the Lower Richland Community. Lisa was the owner/operator of Garden Flowers by Lisa Waller. Her talent in arranging flowers for special events was well known throughout the Columbia area. Her bubbly, upbeat personality, compassion for others, and ready smile for everyone she met, made her an instant friend. She was a hard worker, and her energy for life was amazing. Ms. Waller was predeceased in death by her parents, Jack and Bessie Waller of Hopkins, SC. Surviving is her devoted and loving fiancé, Larry G Scott; her two daughters, Amanda Khalil and Laura Homel (Glen); her brothers, Tom W.(Cheryle)Waller, Jerry W.(Mary) Waller, Vandy K. (Bobbie) Waller, all of Hopkins, SC, and Barry L Waller. Although she will be missed by family members and friends, her two young grandsons, Wylie and Rheid Khalil will miss out on having the joy of being with ?Gigi? who loved them so much. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, December 20, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home on Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Brown?s Chapel Cemetery on Old Leesburg Rd, Hopkins, SC. Reverend Joe Parker of Mt Olive Baptist Church will officiate. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements.
