The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the many friends who called, visited, and showed their support during these last few months. Your support has shown us that we can get through this tough time if we have the love of a friend at our side. Sincere appreciation is extended to Dr. Babcock with South Carolina Oncology Associates, Dr. Beasley with Columbia Urological Associates, Dr. Isbell with Columbia Heart, and Tarsha Jones, Teresa Tidwell, and the staff of Legacy Hospice. We do not know what we would have done without you all during these last months. The compassion that each of you and your colleague?s exhibited was above and beyond the call of duty. We could not have found any better physicians and nurses to be there at the end of this journey with him and we can?t say thank you enough. You all held a special place in his heart and will forever hold a special place in ours. Jim is survived by his loving and caring wife of over 50 years Kathryn, a daughter Gail Wiggins and her husband, Richard, of Columbia, SC, and grandson Taylor Wells of Eastover, SC.
