Obituary of JUDY WILLINGHAM

Judy McCuen Willingham Columbia, SC A funeral service celebrating the life of Judy McCuen Willingham, 70, of Columbia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2010 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Sam Warwick officiating and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association@2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 1088, Columbia, SC 29204 in Judy?s memory. Mrs. Willingham passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2010. She was born in Anderson, SC to the late James Kelly McCuen, Sr. and Mae Campbell McCuen. Judy was a member of Mill Creek United Methodist Church where she was the President of the Ann Dixon Circle. She also retired from the Southern Mutual Church Insurance Company after 20years of dedicated service. Judy was predeceased by her sister, Callie McCuen Simpson and a brother, Bobby McCuen. Surviving are her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 51years, Carroll ?Bugs? Willingham; two sons, Neal Willingham and Brett (Lisa) Willingham; three grandchildren, Dustin, Trevor and Julia Willingham; a brother, Jimmy (Charlotte) McCuen; nephew, Jeff (Liz) McCuen; two nieces, Kelly (Ben) Oetken and Kim McCuen; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly. Special thanks is extended to the Drs. and staff at the Providence Hospital ICU on Forest Drive for their care of Mrs. Willingham during her illness. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements.
