Obituary of DELMA TEMPLIN

Funeral services for Delma Geneva Templin, 73, will be held 11:00am Friday, September 10, 2010 at East Columbia Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Robert G. Ward Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Timmonsville, SC. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, Thursday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Mrs. Templin passed away Monday, September 6, 2010. Born in Sumter, SC on April 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Brown Carter and Viola Mitchum Carter. She was a member of East Columbia Pentecostal Holiness Church, and worked as a nurse?s aide at the SC State Hospital for eight years, prior to her retirement. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Richard ?Jerry? Templin of Columbia; a brother, Leroy Carter (wife Mary Lou) of Manning; a sister, Inez Grooms of Sumter; step-children, Sandra Judd and Paul Templin, both of Carson City, NV and Lynda Bearly of Shelbyville, IN; eight step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Margaret Carter and Mary Lou Baker, both of Sumter and Barbara Rabon of Florence, Suzanne Pellicciotti of Douglassville, PA, Sarah Templin of St. Matthews, NC, and Brenda Schaffer of Shillington, PA; brothers-in-law, Cleon Templin of St. Matthews, NC, Nelson Pellicciotti of Douglassville, PA, Gene Baker of Sumter, and Charles Rabon of Florence.
